About the author and the book

Henk De Beenhouwer - Author's name: Henk DB - nurtures a passion for classical music, literature and the visual arts as an architect in addition to architecture as a viewer and designer at the interface of architecture, art and literature. In 800 cm3, everything was designed by the author: the chapters are marked with raised fingers, a reference to August's wounded fingers, and on several pages the literature flirts with images that, unlike many authors, are not merely illustrative, but via a collage technique of photo and drawing, form a separate artistic input. Colourful books of butterflies that want to be read flutter in the black sky on the front cover and disappear on the back flap like disconnected pages - the book has been read - absorbed into the dark nothingness...
